CT Contracting was founded in 2025 by Coy Thompson. His background is working as part of the Construction Management team on a variety large commercial, heavy civil and underground utility projects. He has worked in the construction industry in various capacities, for most of his working life. He has a passion for building, and enjoys the constant innovation of new products and building methods, as well as the satisfaction of seeing a successful project completed.

Throughout high school Coy worked for a contractor installing decking and concrete coatings, as well as painting services. Shortly after graduation, he began working in a lumberyard for a building supply company where he developed his knowledge of the various building materials and and their applications.

While in college, he landed a job with a large commercial contractor and was able to be a part of the City Creek Project, a multi-billion dollar commercial development located in downtown Salt Lake City. In 2011 he graduated Weber St. University with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management, as well as a minor in Business Administration.

Since then, he has been able to work on a variety of large commercial projects including data centers, schools, shopping centers, newly developed subdivisions, underground utility infrastructure and road infrastructure projects.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and activities including, camping, boating, snowboarding, motorsports, scuba diving and traveling.
